Since 2009, I've worked with singers of all ages and levels on contemporary styles such as rock, pop, jazz, blues, country, r&b, folk and more. Voice lessons are appropriate for anyone looking to explore, develop and build the voice, or to create a stronger and more dynamic image.
We will explore and strengthen your entire range via singing various musical patterns, and also engage in breathing, body scanning and relaxation exercises to reduce physical tension and mental interference. Starting with your favorite songs, we'll tackle repertoire to increase artistic & interpretive ability. We'll address vocal health
We will explore and strengthen your entire range via singing various musical patterns, and also engage in breathing, body scanning and relaxation exercises to reduce physical tension and mental interference. Starting with your favorite songs, we'll tackle repertoire to increase artistic & interpretive ability. We'll address vocal health and the mechanics of singing - all while having fun and making some new sounds. You will come away knowing much more about your vocal instrument, singing, and making music in general.
Ready to meet you where you’re at right now, I offer knowledge gained over a lifetime in music as an experienced teacher, singer, performer, songwriter, and recording artist. I am a nurturing, supportive, and positive teacher here to offer honest and constructive feedback and provide proven strategies to make singing easier and more fun.

I am a nurturing, supportive, and positive teacher here to offer honest and constructive feedback and provide proven strategies to make singing easier and more fun. My goal is to help you polish and refine your approach in using your voice as an effective communicator.
Based out of Boston, I offer online lessons in voice, flute, beginner guitar, and music theory that you can attend virtually from wherever you are, in the comfort of your own space. Working together online, you won't miss the stress of traffic or delays, searching for parking, or tickets. We use the Muzie platform, which processes audio better than Zoom, to provide an enhanced music lesson experience. To learn more about lessons and discuss your goals, let's have a chat!
"ATTENTION musicians, actors, singers, linguistic artists, motivational speakers, chatty cathys, casual merrymakers: preserve those precious pipes! Check out Ajda, my talented and fantastic voice teacher and try out a lesson (or a dozen). Each of her lessons are worth every (totally affordable) penny." - Tara P
“Great first lesson! I played a show a few hours after the lesson and I think just those warm ups helped! Looking forward to starting for real and digging into getting better!” - Chris B
“Eleanor ROCKED IT. So far she has been the most charismatic singer on the stage. She got the crowd involved and had so much fun! Fired up!!!” - Jessica D, mom of 8yo kid
"Ajda is a very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly teacher. I came to her for voice lessons as a beginner, and she quickly made me feel comfortable to sing and fully explore my voice. I now understand so many new concepts and aspects of singing technique, and how important it is to incorporate those with emotion. I feel like I truly know what it means to sing, because it has become so much more interesting and enjoyable since working with Ajda." – Charles R
“Ajda is helping me overcome my extreme fear of singing. She’s so kind and patient and explains exactly why we do different exercises. I had no idea! With her help I think I can make some progress.” – Jill H
“Ajda is geared to details based on what I want to learn. I'm delighted with how much music is easier to understand. My love for music expands with each lesson. Thank you, Ajda.” – Debi Y
“Ajda, I ‘crushed it’ yesterday night and dominated the event. I received a ton of compliments – a whole variety of them from so many strangers and company folks alike. People walked up to me offering kind, genuine, and appreciative words, handshakes, and thanking me for a stellar performance and making the evening fun! Thank you for all the fantastic coaching.” - Sidd T
"I came to Ajda a few years ago, when I started a gender transition. I'd been a singer most of my life, but had fallen out of practice for nearly a decade, and reclaiming my voice was incredibly important to me. It can be difficult to find vocal instructors who understand the needs of a trans singer, but Ajda wasn't fazed. She helped me not only find strength in my voice again, but helped me expand my upper range a few steps. Ajda is always bringing new techniques to lessons and encouraging me to expand my horizons musically. I feel like she has a strong eye toward a singer's holistic health and performance. She's consistently able to identify areas where I struggle and offer a new way of approaching the situation to help me overcome those obstacles. We not only cover vocal technique, but work toward my personal goals - stage presence, leading a band, and finding a space as a performer in Boston. I'm ecstatic to work with her." - Hannah R
“Ajda brought me back to my childhood joy of the flute in our first lesson. During our lessons she not only helped me to remember what I learned as a child but also guided me easily into the next stages of my learning and practice. She listened to my goals and focused on those while also pulling me in some new directions that I would not have considered without her confidence and encouragement. Thank you for reminding me that I'm a musician at heart Ajda!” - Andrea C
